It was delightful!

XMU asked (really, they begged) WOBC to grace their airwaves once more.
on
NOV. 11 1pm EST WOBC will be featured on XMU. This means that we send XMU a playlist that best represents WOBC's sound. This is a difficult task considering we have an incredibly diverse line-up, but XMU helps to narrow down the options. They want more "mainstream indie" pop and consider Kate Bush branching out. Of course WOBC is always bending the rules.
The last show in June consisted of some 80s hip-hop, a few Oberlin bands, noise/freeform, bands like Can, the knife and more. The response (according to the XMU guy Billy Zero and our sources) was VERY positive. We were the 3rd school to be featured on XMU channel 43's new, and then monthly, program called "XMU Student exchange."
For those of you who do not know XMU it is channel 43 on the new digital radio system. It claims to represent college indie rock. Last time we were sent instructions on how to listen to our program for free, without subscribing to digital radio, and I posted them in the blog so that everyone could enjoy. I will do this again soon.
Excited?
Should be.
